How does my membership work?
It is very simple. You sign up with our Signup Form. You confirm your input and then payment will be requested. Fill out payment information (remember the first 30 days are free and your card will not be charged if you cancel before the auto renewal set at 30 days). Submit. You will then receive a random number generated as your OnDaSh ID. Only you will know your number and this number is the only information identifying you as a member so do not share this with others. Again, this is a COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS service. Once you have an activated account with an assigned number you will have full unrestricted access to participate in all blogs, access news articles, internet articles, for fun and tips pages. You will also have full unrestricted access to search, or create new records in, the databases. Top of page

I have canceled my subscription and changed my mind.
No worries! If you are under a 30 day Free Trial you will still have free access until the end of your 30 day Free Trial. We have made it very easy to re-activate your account. After your trial period ends you will see a "Re-Activate" button in your account details page. Simply click that button and follow the on-screen prompts. You will be able to re-activate without having to signup again if done so within 60 to 90 days from when you canceled your account.

Why are the Archive BLOGs password protected?
As our memberships continue to grow and more people start participating in the blogs we have to scale back to the newer topics, as they are interactive. We want to ensure that we give the attention that our members deserve with each interactive blog. Archiving is a way to achieve this. An active BLOG is placed in archives after three (3) or four (4) weeks. This is ample time for subscribers to read and participate. DON'T FRET! If you see an archived BLOG title that interests you... you have NOT missed out. Every so often we will cycle those archived BLOGs back into current status. This way everyone will benefit with the same information. You can follow us on Facebook to keep up with current and upcoming events and BLOGs. On occasion we also have "Chat Week" in lieu of the BLOG. This is where members can discuss topics of their choice. This is also the opportunity to request an archived BLOG to be placed in "current" status. Top of page

What are the special instructions for MATCH.com®?
Match® is quite trickier to create new records and search records. They have changed the way their user profiles are handled. No longer are there "screen names" it is simply whatever first name they put in their profile. So it is a little different in creating and searching records:

UPDATE October 2019! We have made changes to make it easier for you.
1. Go to the user you want to create/search our database records profile page.
2. While on their profile page locate the url in the web address bar like this: .../profile/oofGrGyexample_IWaexampleXQ.
3. Copy the ENTIRE web address in the address bar of your browser.
4. Paste the id into the username fields on the create a new post, or search pages.
5. Our program will now do the rest to extract the user ID for you!

As cumbersome as this is we actually like this best. Because no matter how, if, when they change screen/user names their profile identifier does not change. This provides much more accuracy and less confusion of similar screen/user names! Top of page

What are some examples of input in the description of the new record?
You may want to alert other users about an online dating user: changes their location often, asks for money, will not stop contacting you, made you feel uncomfortable for your safety, etc. ALSO... You can report that the online dating user is: kind, polite, caring etc. but just not a chemistry match, or different interests/beliefs. We encourage positive input as much as negative. There are a lot of good people out there that just simply are not a good match for you, but that does make them a bad person. What you are NOT allowed to do is listed in the "Your Commitment to Us". This is not an exclusive list. Please use common sense and treat others how you would expect to be treated. Top of page

What is "OnDaSh?"
OnDaSh is simply a nickname for our site: ONlineDAteSHare.com. Top of page
