Valentines Beware (read-only)

So it is Valentine’s Day, today. If you have a partner you enjoy that is great! But if you did you would not be here on our site reading this blog, now would you?

This is still peak season for scammers, players and thugs. You are right in the thick of it. They are waiting to prey on those who get through this holiday without a significant other. This is when they really step up their game to prey on the vulnerable. They are waiting for those who are lonely, wanting love and a significant other to share their days and nights with.

Be strong, thorough and patient. Do not get in a rush and start to feel that you need to lower your standards for what you want and need out of a partner. In plain terms… do not start to act out of some form of desperation. Do NOT settle, folks. The right person, a real person, is out there for you. They are worth the extra effort and wait.

You may think to yourself that you are educated on what to look for (you may have learned quite a bit from our service), but we are here to tell you that they are getting better and better, each day, at their scams. If you think you have all of your wants’/needs’ boxes checked with the perfect partner and it seems too good to be true… it is 99.9% likely that it is. If you feel you hit the jackpot and got that lucky go buy a lottery ticket. Trust us! The best vetting process is taking your time. There is not an expiration date on true love. “No one falls in love faster than a narcissist who needs money and/or a place to live!” Always give the person you are dating (this means IN PERSON) at least 3 months for their crazy, or con, to surface. If you are “dating” someone and have never met in person then you have a “Pen Pal” and are not actually dating. NEVER send money to someone you have met online. Especially if you have never met in person.

Remember to report that you are talking with someone, suspicious activities, and dates you go on. This lets others know what, and who, they are dealing with. Also, remember to check back to see if the new records you create prompt someone else to chime in with records of their own. You should always do, and redo, searches to see if anyone else has something to say. It is not uncommon for someone to find out the person they are dating is still active in the online dating platform.

OnlineDateShare provides a platform for online daters to give, and receive, information about online dating profiles that would not be available by other means.

Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Dating!
